The WellSpring Recovery System is a free community program teaching nervous system regulation and energy healing. The program operates on 6 tiers of experience including Weekly Wellness Workshops, Conscious Connections Lectures, Literature Review, Community Connection Meetings, Discovering the Authentic Self Journaling Groups, and Sanyama Sessions blending the use of EFT and guided meditation. By raising awareness for self-regulation we can empower practitioners to take direction in their path to healing. Weekly Wellness Workshops Thursday's from 6:00-7:30 pm NAMI Hernando Community Center Purpose: Weekly Wellness Workshops are designed to instruct practitioners on the various practices for nervous system and energy regulation. The workshops are designed as introductory fostering a community of acceptance for advanced and beginning practices. The intention is that when practitioners are faced with difficult hurtles in their healing journey, they are equipped with a toolbox of practices to aid in their recovery process. Format: The hour-long session is designed in a modular format with the intention of allowing practitioners to explore the dynamics of movement therapy, breathwork, energy therapy, acupressure therapy, sensory awareness, and meditation. Courses are interactive. This is not lecture based and does not include open discussion forum. Practitioners will be asked to move, breathe, and find stillness within each practice. All activities are designed to be introductory. Content Includes: • Opening and Closing awareness • Movement therapy; Yoga, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong • Breathwork • Energy/acupressure therapy • Sensory Awareness • Meditation
