Beasley Farm

10137 Preston Road, Brooksville, FL, 34601

Beasley Farm sits on Preston Road just off Mondon Hill Road, in the stretch of north Brooksville between Highway 41 and Highway 50. It is a working farm first, growing pesticide-free vegetables and selling them direct, and its $10 produce box is the thing reviewers mention more than anything else. One review calls it a steal, which is roughly the consensus. What has turned it into a destination is everything built around the produce. There is a petting zoo with goats, cows, and chickens, and feeding the animals comes up in reviews almost as often as the vegetables do. The property runs to acres of oak trees. During the fall the farm adds a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, pick-your-own flowers, a corn pit and ball pit for younger kids, face painting, pony rides, and food trucks. The Fall Festival has run with free admission and free parking. There is a Christmas event as well. The farm also hosts its own farmers market on the property roughly monthly, bringing in outside vendors and food alongside the farm's own produce. Those market days are the busiest and best time to visit if you want the full experience rather than just a produce run. Two practical notes. The farm has historically been cash only for produce, so bring cash rather than assuming a card reader. And the farm closes for a summer break: as of a July 30, 2026 update from the owners, it reopens on September 12, 2026 with the September farmers market. At 4.9 stars across more than 700 Google reviews, Beasley Farm has one of the strongest review profiles of any small business in the county. The farm does not run its own website. Market dates, festival announcements, and reopening news all go out through its Facebook page, which is the only reliable place to check hours before driving out.
