Business Builders Spring Hill

Spring Hill, FL

Business Builders Spring Hill is a free business networking group built around a weekly lunch meeting and a large online community. It is organized by Jon Givens, a business advisor, and the group's own description of itself is refreshingly plain: a free networking group designed to help grow everyone's business, meet new people, and build new relationships. The weekly meetup runs Wednesdays at 11:55 AM at Marco's Pizza, 5150 Commercial Way in Spring Hill. The odd start time is deliberate rather than a typo, and the format is a working lunch. What makes this group unusual for the area is the scale of the online side. The public Facebook group carries roughly 3,700 members, which is far larger than the room that turns up on any given Wednesday, and it spans both Spring Hill and Hudson. In practice that means the group functions as two things at once: a small in-person networking meeting, and a much broader online noticeboard where local businesses cross-promote, share events, and post openings. There is no membership fee, no application process, and no industry exclusivity. Anyone can join the Facebook group and anyone can turn up on a Wednesday. The group also carries and shares events beyond its own meeting, including craft sales and seasonal community gatherings posted by members, so the events feed is worth watching even for people who never attend the lunch.
