Spring Hill United Church of Christ

4244 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL, 34609

Spring Hill United Church of Christ is a congregation in the United Church of Christ denomination, located on Mariner Boulevard in Spring Hill. It is an Open and Affirming church, a designation within the UCC for congregations that publicly welcome people of every background, and that welcome is the first thing most visitors and neighbors say about it. Worship takes place on Sundays at 10 a.m. in person, and the service is also streamed live on Zoom, which allows members who are traveling or unable to attend to take part. Reviewers describe an inclusive, friendly congregation with good music and approachable leadership, and note the welcoming signs along Mariner Boulevard that make the church's stance clear to everyone who drives past. The church's best-known community program is its Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, which gives away free food on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. No proof of residency is required, which removes a common barrier for people who need help. The church also runs an environmental outreach ministry, part of the denomination's wider commitment to caring for creation. Spring Hill United Church of Christ links to the UCC's Statement of Faith on its website, where visitors can read about what the denomination believes and how the congregation understands its mission. The site also hosts a history page for those who want to learn about the church's past. The church is at 4244 Mariner Boulevard in Spring Hill. Call (352) 683-4870 to reach the office, or visit shucc.org for worship information, the Zoom link and news.
