La Florizza is a family-owned wood-fired pizza truck in Spring Hill. Rather than roaming, it operates from a fixed spot at 3275 Commercial Way, where customers can order for pickup and eat at the outdoor seating area. The pizzeria says it chases authentic flavors through traditional preparation, and it takes particular care over its cheese, using a Wisconsin maker of natural Italian-style cheeses for independent pizzerias with no preservatives, fillers or additives. The truck was the subject of a FOX 13 Tampa Bay segment earlier this year. La Florizza is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday.
